ThermoFlex Liner models:
Speed and Force Model: Designed for high cuff, generally 4 buckle boots. Firm material adds total rigidity to the boot and the heel cup area has been beefed up for maximum heel hold down power. The liner is a “wrap” design that gives most power to your boot shell.
NT and Mid Model: Designed for low to medium cuff, 2 to 3 buckle boots. Medium density material for a comfortable feel and ride. The liner is a “tongue” configuration for maximum comfort and ease of boot entry.
How to determine which model is best for you:
Model types are determined by two things: height of liner and stiffness of liner.
Every boot has a height to it, measuring from the inside of the heel to the top of the boot. This height will be one determining factor in your selection. If you boot is low, you don't want a 12.5 inch liner sticking up out of it! On the other hand, if you have a tall boot you don't want a liner shorter than the shell itself. Please refer to the chart below.
Another thing to consider is the stiffness you want out of the liner. The NT and Mid models have a softer forward flex and softer liner overall. The Speed and Force models are stiffer, more rigid liners with a wrap design that resists forward flex more than the NT model.
