Booster Strap

The BOOSTER wraps like a big rubber band around the boot top and your lower leg. It removes all that extra space without having to over tighten the buckles. You'll get a quicker start, positive steering and more rebound. By using specially woven elastic webbing the BOOSTER creates an elastic bond between your leg and your boot. Pre-stretching the BOOSTER allows you to control the response of your skis.

Two Models to choose from: Standard and Race. The Standard model has 2 bands of elastic, the Race has 3 bands of elastic.

For maximum performance the Booster strap should be routed outside the rear spoiler and inside the plastic shell up against the tongue in front. The elastic is then stretched about an inch.

Guidelines for adjusting tension in use:

If on your very first turn you don't notice a dramatic difference in equipment response the Booster strap is to loose or installed incorrectly. On the other hand if, after a few turns it feels like something is pushing you backwards the Booster is to tight. Keep in mind that as in any sport your skill level improves with experience so your Booster setting may vary with time. Adjust to your skill level.

Notes: On boots without a low shell, elastic portion may be above shell in front.
